Transitions can feel overwhelming!
Ask yourself: What are the types of transitions that can be difficult for my teen? Are there any situations that seem to always go well, or situations that always go poorly? What are some of the patterns that seem to make a difference? Consider using simple tools to help make transitions easier, such as talking about upcoming changes, creating predictable routines, and encouraging breaks when needed.
