Get ready to think on your feet, find your voice, and have some fun along the way! Think Fast! is an energetic 10-session college campus experience that uses improv games, creative activities, group challenges, and plenty of laughter to help participants become more confident communicators.
Led by an engaging instructor, this interactive course takes public speaking beyond standing in front of a room and giving a speech. Participants will practice starting and maintaining conversations, expressing ideas, speaking in front of others, using body language and eye contact, thinking on the spot, working as part of a team, and becoming more comfortable in unexpected social situations.
Through improv, role-playing, storytelling, humorous scenarios, and collaborative challenges, participants will have opportunities to take positive risks, discover their creativity, build self-confidence, and learn that making a mistake doesn't have to be something to fear—it can sometimes be the best part of the experience!
No scripts. No pressure to be perfect. Just an opportunity to speak up, jump in, have fun, and build confidence—one scene at a time!

Affinity Class Instructor
Sarah Slotnick is a social studies teacher at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She brings her passion for history, improv, and art into the learning space to create engaging, age-appropriate experiences that build confidence, communication, and independence. Sarah believes in fostering a supportive environment where every individual is respected, empowered, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, reading, listening to podcasts, and of course, hanging out at the beach.
